I was cleaning out my papers drawer and I came across this scribbled on a sheet of notepaper. I remembered I'd written it down when I first was interested in LotR (seven years ago). It brought back so many memories of when I first watched the films and the suspense and wonder I felt. So I quickly formed an idea in my mind and made this wallpaper.

For more information on the poem/lyrics, go here, it explains where it came from and translations and stuff. [link]

Oooh! This makes me want to watch LOTR again! I was in sixth grade when the first one came out, and I went with a whole bunch of my friends and bounced the whole way through the movie! XD I had never read the books before, but I did after that, and I'm still a huge LOTR geek! *grins*

The poem is very interesting, and I love the mood you've captured in this piece. Very interesting use of fonts, too!

Thanks for the memories and the stock use! XD

I know!!! Every once in awhile, I'll come across some LotR image, or a part in the soundtrack and it'll bring back all the wonderful feelings I felt when I first saw the movies!

I didn't get to see the first one in theaters, I saw it about a month and a half before the second one came out. And I was 14 then. Of course, then after I saw the first one, I read the trilogy in about 2 weeks. :) I have this whole notebook full of papers and newspaper/magazine clippings about the movies. It's my LotR geek notebook, and yeah, I even joined the official fanclub!

I remember when I first read this poem, it really captured me. So I'm glad I found it again and found a proper picture to go with it. :) Frodo was an after thought, but adding him tied it all together I think. :)

Glad I could bring back some nice memories, thanks for the stock!
