Earth has been attacked twice by an alien species called Formics (Buggers), nearly destroying the human race. Mankind begins training young geniuses to become soldiers and commanders to fight in Earth's defense if the Buggers should ever attack again.

Andrew "Ender" Wiggin is extremely intelligent, and at the age of six years old, he goes to Battle School to be trained. Ender quickly rises to the top and begins training in order to command Earth's fleet.

Because the Buggers have returned - and now Ender is Earth's only hope...only he doesn't know it.

I agree!! I liked it quite a lot. I think I first read it when I was 10 or 11. An easier read for kids, but it sounded/felt grown-up, y'know?

read the first four books and now am reading enders exile. supposibly there will be a movie. but orson scott card is having problems finding a production team that wont make ender a teenager with a love interest. so thats what i hear from what he posts online anways. in love with the books though. i really like this piece. would make a good book cover. or even movie poster idea.

Wow! This is awesome! I loved this book, as well as the books after it! When I first read the book, I called my friends, 'buggers," as a joke and they didn't get it haha XD

I've actually only read Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow. I really want to read the others, I just haven't got the time. :(

If whomever makes the movie makes Ender a teenager I'd be so mad!

The best book ive ever read. I cried through the last chapter :) Im quite fanatic about the series (still reading through it) as well as Enders character. Great work!

I know, I felt so incredibly sorry for Ender at the end of this book. I haven't read the rest of the series (only Ender's Shadow) but I do want to read them. :) Thanks!
